At Main Street Antiques on Harrison, every piece you see has been chosen with intention. We are not a mall filled with reproductions, we are a curated antique store, built on a genuine love for history, craftsmanship, and pieces that have stood the test of time.
Our process starts long before anything reaches the shop floor. We spend time sourcing from estates, private collections, and trusted consignors, always looking for items with character and authenticity. Each piece is carefully researched to understand its origin, age, and story. From maker's marks or patterns and materials, we take pride in knowing what we're offering and sharing that knowledge with our customers.
Once selected, every item goes through a thoughtful process. Pieces are gently cleaned, preserved, and prepared with care, never stripped of the qualities that make them special.
Our store is located in the heart of downtown Panama City, a place with its own story of resilience. In 2018, Hurricane Michael caused widespread devastation to the area, including much of the downtown district. What stands today is a reflection of the rebuilding, strength, and community.
Over the past few years, downtown has continued to evolve, including a long period of construction that bought its own challenges. Remaining open for over two years during that time required patience, adaptability, and the support of our community. It wasn't always easy, but it reinforced why being part of this downtown matters so much to us.
We've also taken steps to be part of the area's creative growth, including adding two mural's to our building as part of the local downtown mural trail. It's another way we're contributing to the character and experience of downtown.
Main Street Antiques on Harrison is a space where the past and present meet. Whether it's a piece of fine china, a well loved piece of furniture, or a small decorative find, everything here has been chosen because it deserved a second life.
